Today is this blog's half birthday! Wow! Six months have come and gone since I first launched this dream of mine out onto the Interwebs for all to see and read. I never thought that I could consistently write and keep up with a blog for longer than a month or so (especially with a little one), so this six month mark is a big deal!
This blog all started out with the deep desire to want to open up and be vulnerable about my journey with child loss after my husband and I lost our first son, Aaron, nearly three years ago. My hope for continuing to write is that even if one person knows that they're not alone in this awful struggle and that they're loved, then it's completely worth it to me for all of the time and effort that I put in to making this blog happen.
Writing consistently has been SO rewarding, too. I've always kept journals and little diaries since I was, sheesh, maybe five or six years old, so I like to think that writing has always been apart of me. Even in through the heartbreak and pain, something beautiful has emerged from the ashes and that, my friends, is hope.
Thank you all for the feedback and encouragement along the way; it has made me want to keep pursuing this dream of writing and honesty even more.
I just wanted to write this quick little note to say THANK YOU to everyone who has read, commented, shared, and interacted with me and my blog. It really has meant so much to me!
Onward! To another 6 months!
